Seabiscuit (23 mai 1933 - 17 mai 1947) était célèbre cheval américain de courses de galop.
Contre toute attente, Seabiscuit devint un grand champion et son parcours fût un symbole d'espoir pour de nombreuses personnes durant la Grande Dépression.
En 2003 est sorti un film consacré à Seabiscuit : Pur sang, la légende de Seabiscuit. Ce film a remporté aux États-Unis un Academy Award for Best Picture.
